Description

Get back to nature in Animal Crossing™: Pocket Camp, the new Animal Crossing mobile game where you take on the role of campsite manager!

You're in charge, so you can decorate your own campsite however you like! Make it fun, make it cute, make it sporty—it’s up to you to craft the kind of furniture and amenities that will make your camp a must-see for animals visiting the area.

Steps to Creating Your Best Campsite
- Help Animals As You Explore!
While visiting different recreational spots, you'll meet new animals who could use a little help. They'll be looking for fish, fruit, bugs, and other things to get their camping adventures started—and when you help them out, you'll earn Bells and craft materials in return!

- Craft Furniture and Amenities
The craft materials you earn by fulfilling animals’ requests can be used to craft all sorts of furniture and amenities for your campsite.

Just open up the Craft menu and place an order with Cyrus, the hardworking handyman from Re-Tail on the Road. Then sit back and wait! Or, if you're in a hurry, you can move your order to the very front of the line by using Leaf Tickets. You can purchase Leaf Tickets with real money, or earn them through regular gameplay.

- Your Campsite. Your Way.
The joy of the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp game is creating a space that suits you and your style.

Your campsite can be anything you like—from a traditional space that celebrates nature to a flashy fun house with concerts and rides. It's all up to you!

You can also customize your camper, visit your friends' campsites to get ideas for your own, and meet new animal friends as you explore recreational areas!

- Host Animals at Your Campsite
As you grow your friendships with different animals, they'll want to visit your campsite. Craft and decorate with their favorite items, and you’ll be able to host them whenever you like—even if you change up your decorations completely!

Note: This game is a free download with in-app purchases.

Note: A persistent Internet connection is required to play Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.

I love AC so i was pretty excited about this. It's okay. The gardening is pretty pointless. I wish I could just plant some plants below my camp instead of being off to the side. I don't really care about the mini game aspect to it. Those merchants need to rotate their stock or have a better selection... mostly just because we can't craft clothes yet. Building relationships with the other animals is good, that's fun. I wish there were something else we could do at the campsites, in addition to talking to animals and sitting down. It's missing something. Full Review

Just some things that would improve the game. Player character able to interact with amenities. Switch 'my furniture' with 'collected items' since people check items more often. Change visit his or her campsite to visit *their campsite. Add another amenity crafting slot (there's 2 amenities at the camp come on). Spend 10 leaf tickets to "request all" for the quarry. "cancel crafting" button with 1/2 resources return. "already owned" tag above sellable items. Start the market selling prices from the minimum amount instead of maximum. Add one more location (need new scenery). "swap materials" option instead of receiving bells. Daily return rewards go UP in value eg. Day 1 = 1 leaf ticket, Day 5 = 3 leaf tickets. Full Review

So addictive -- take Animal Crossing wherever and whenever! Easier than carrying around a 3ds, and a great pick up and play game. Sure it's obvious Nintendo wants your money for the leaf tickets, but you can totally play for free if you don't mind waiting for things... Full Review

First off, they do updates frequently but the all serve to either fix a problem or add some new content to the game. Also, gardening takes so long that I just don't feel like doing it. I would be great if i could plant, harvest, and water more than one plant at a time. But it isn't a game where h can grind, which I like, but there aren't many things to do. I wish my character was able to interact with the items and furniture beyond sitting or turning something on and off. Would be wonderful to use the picnic set or eat or take a drink with all my animal friends. Full Review

Can't play at all. Just get errors that it can't download data. Not a single other app has connection issues. 802-7667 is the dreaded code. I reported it to support and never received a response. But the response comes in app, and now that I can't get in at all (was intermittent) I can't tell if they've replied. I suffered through the terrible, rigged Garden Safari hoping for something better afterwards. Now I may never know. Full Review

The game is very much the same as the original animal crossing. My only problem is with the craft materials, they don't give you enough of the ones that are more often required like cotton and essences other than that I have no problems other than maybe a new area should be added so you can interact with animals more. Great game!! Very addictive! The only complaints I have: 1. PLEASE MAKE THE CAMPSITE BIGGER!! I have so much furniture I want to use at my own campsite. 2. ADD MORE ANIMALS TO HOST @ CAMPSITE PLEASE!! We can currently host 8 animals. Why can't we fit at least 12? It would be even more fun! Full Review

I enjoy the game! I think it reminds me of my old school days playing on the GameCube. Just a few things I wish were a little different..i wish you could have more then 2 amenities out at a time. And why are the price of leaf tickets so high to purchase but given out so freely for completing tasks?? Other then that I like playing!! Full Review

I've owned almost every version of AC and I've always enjoyed it, but not having as many types of bugs/fish, not being able to dig up and collect fossils, being unable to plant flowers just anywhere, not being able to grow my own fruit-trees, and not having anything other than mobile living quarters, while having to craft several types of tents and never being able to enter them, take a lot away from what I enjoyed. The most frustrating issue is the Market Place and the limited animals that set up shop. Also, of 01/27/18 none of the animals/products in the Market Place have changed and I updated my game on 01/30/18. I'm still going to play because I love AC and it's cute, all the while hoping for awesome updates in the future! Thanks for this app :) Full Review

It's fun and I like that there are special events such as the Christmas theme. I wish we could try out a wallpaper, carpet and flooring before buying them. Some use up a lot of materials and take 12+ hours to construct, only to find that it didn't really match to your setup as well as you thought. Full Review

Update: This game utilizes time sensitive events and classic mobile app tactics to pressure you to open up your wallet to fix abysmally low RNG. Beware of that. Disappointed in you, Animal Crossing! You were the chosen one! Second Update: Adding stars because the annoying banner seems to have gone away. Third update: I spoke too soon about that banner Full Review

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is an great version of Animal Crossing, and doesn't feel like a mobile title but rather another entry in the series. The characters are unique, the ability to customize things to great detail is still there, and the game is very fun to play. I recommend playing it, and enjoying each update as they come out. Thank you Nintendo! :) Full Review

Seems to require access to the server in order to play. Even the single player portions require server contact for each action you take. Aside from that, it seems fun. Please add offline mode before you shut down the servers, which will happen eventually because it's nintendo. The continuing updates are nice and all but it will be gone when the servers shut down. Absolute BS. Crashes constantly on start up. Upon trying to link my nintendo account upon reinstallation, the game crashes when downloading the back up data (193mb) whilst stating "please do not close the game". I am not nintendo you are doing it for me. So I am in a constant loop of only getting to 45%. I will rate better once i can access the game. Servers are flawed and they make it near impossible to contact them with the issues. Update: now the game wont even start. I doubt the developers are even addressing the issues people are having. This is an absolute disgrace. Full Review

the game has become so repetitive. you can only do limited tasks and every 3 hours you do the same tasks with different animals. i wanted to get my animals to level 20 but that is never going to happen because every few weeks they add more animal friends. it is a never ending mindless game with no story or brain stimulation. I'm loving the repetitive nature of the game. It's great. I just don't understand the algorithm of the rewards you receive from completing tasks. I've maxed out the number of steel so many times yet I barely get any cotton or preserves. Especially with these new characters, it uses a lot of preserves yet its so hard to get. Please fix that. Otherwise, a great game. Full Review

I will update this if it is fixed, but I am very particular about my inventory and such things and I want to be able to sell the rover furniture/clothing. I don't care how much it is worth. But it bothers me that it is trapped in my inventory forever. Please change this! Full Review

Love the game, it's nice to be able to play it on the go, I've been a lover of the game series for many years and was so excited for this app to come out, i love the updates, they get me excited and never let me get bored. My only negative is that I wish I could play in real time with my friends and actually interact with them like you could when you visited a friends town in animal crossing city folk. Full Review

Will change my rating to 5 stars, because I LOVE this game, once my "technical issues" tickets are finally addressed. I have filed 3 or 4 because my leaf ticket purchases are glitching out, even though I've bought tickets before. First filed on January 23. The small special winter event leaf ticket pack messed up my app. Cannot purchase any tickets and have been trying since the day the current event began. Now I will be unable to complete the event, because I was trying to purchase tickets to do so. Full Review

Very fun, great gameplay, a few minor problems that will probably be fixed over time. The market listings should be made public for all to see! I cant buy what I need when i can only see the listings of my friends, and no one will buy what i sell. Can get repetitive so I hope they add in a few new things here and there. It would also be helpful if we had a book of bugs and fish to see how many we are missing. Full Review

Edit: Okay so I don't think it's just me but something needs to be done about Marketplace! I don't ever see Kicks anymore and I keep getting the same items/clothes with every rotation! Please fix :'( Great time killer and slightly similar to the console version. The biggest difference is the animals' dialogue. For anyone new to AC: the animals in the original games each have their own personality and dialogue and some even have a mean streak! But in this version ALL the animals keep kissing my behind. Other than that it's worth a try. Full Review
